Like mentioned yesterday, we have partnered with Not For Sale.
We also want to partner with you as we spread awareness for human trafficking.
Mark your planners, agendas, calendars, phone apps, etc. because on September 3rd at 7:00 PM, we are taking over Taproom Coffee, and we want you to help the takeover.
We will give more information as the day approaches, but until then, get ready to make a difference!
We are not for sale. We are so worth loving.
"Human trafficking is the acquisition of people using force, deception, or coercion with the intent to exploit."
-Not For Sale Campaign
We have been given the honor and privilege to partner with Not For Sale to continue shining a light of worth on something that has been going on for years; slavery.
Not For Sale is an organization that is set in California, but is effecting modern-day slavery worldwide. They are on the road to reinventing the globe by trying to disintegrate what has provided billions of dollars of illegal profit:
This partnership has shown us that there are beauties out there that have dealt with too much filth to see their true worth. Women, men, and even children are currently being used, abused, and put into a place of nothing. They are forced to live in situations that contain no sense of self, thus no sense of self-worth, self-love, or even a want to live for themselves.
Keep your calendars marked for the evening of September 3rd, but until then, we will be sharing stories of not only people who have been on the worst end of human trafficking, but also stories of others who are or have dealt with being a slave to something.
As we start this next week of majorly pushing awareness of human trafficking, please don’t hesitate to check out Not For Sale’s website for more information.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can show that no matter what circumstance one is in or how degraded they have been, they are so worth loving.
We are not for sale. We are so worth loving.
"Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on."
This has been on my heart for a while.
Why is this simple idea so hard to do? We fight, we argue, we hold grudges with and against the people we care most about. We pass over helping people in need because we’re too busy or we don’t know how to get involved.
It all starts with love.
It doesn’t take elaborate gestures or lots of money to make a difference. Let’s just love each other. I think that’s the best way to start.

Just like Abby, we are wanting to spread the word of loving each other! Be a part of this lifestyle change, Love You. Love People., and share your story of how loving yourself has helped you learn to love others.
Go on Instagram. Post a wonderful picture of yourself (I’m sure you have loads to choose from), and tell your story. Don’t forget to hashtag #loveyoulovepeople so more people with eager hearts can be impacted by your words!
- Someone who thinks you should love you more.
During the first part of our Love You. Love people. lifestyle change, we want to make it known that if you’re unhappy with yourself in any way, it’s time to tell someone. Isolation is the key to staying in the pit of negativity and self-hate, so find someone who you can fully trust to talk about it. That way, you have someone hand-in-hand that’s with you every step of the way as you walk up to the mirror and smile at yourself again.
You’re never alone.
You are loved.
We really want you to love you as much as we love you.
Our motto at SWL is, "Love you. Love people."
Even though we cherish that phrase and try to exert that message through all of our clothing and quotes, we wanted to go a step further in sharing this message with all of you and your friends by starting a campaign with this motto on the forefront.
It all starts with loving yourself.
This doesn’t mean just taking a selfie or telling someone that you love yourself, it’s that moment when you look into the mirror when no one is watching; that moment when you can see everything from what’s hidden behind your make-up or what’s hidden behind your long sleeves in the summertime.
We have to learn to embrace ourselves in the loneliest of times.
Do you think of all of the fun and better lifestyles everyone else has because they aren’t by themselves, check social networks to see the lives people want to portray to make themselves look cooler, or even call that one person that you know will comfort you even though it’s wrong and you shouldn’t go down that road again?
Where do you want to be when you’re alone?
Well during this first part of our campaign, we hope that the answer will be with yourself by the end.
It’s time to fall in love with you.
did you grab a twibbon for the month of May??
