So Worth Loving

We know this sounds cliché, but what does, "chasing your dreams," mean to you?
We feel like chasing your dreams means that you are willing to risk it all for your passion. Chasing what you are in love with is way better than staying safe within something that you’re not in love with.

To me, chasing your dreams is planning a flight, and embracing the surprise that you are the one that is doing the actual flying.

Welcome the surprises. Cushion the fall-backs. Remedy the temporary pain and stress.
It’s all worth it in the end.
Keep going, and keep dreaming. It’s what makes you uniquely you. High-res

If you’re hurting, admit it. If you’re unhappy, that’s okay.

- Someone who thinks you should love you more.

During the first part of our Love You. Love people. lifestyle change, we want to make it known that if you’re unhappy with yourself in any way, it’s time to tell someone. Isolation is the key to staying in the pit of negativity and self-hate, so find someone who you can fully trust to talk about it. That way, you have someone hand-in-hand that’s with you every step of the way as you walk up to the mirror and smile at yourself again.

You’re never alone.

You are loved.

We really want you to love you as much as we love you.

tour «

We have been to 7 cities so far and it has been unreal. I went into this tour not having any expectations other than the hopes to meet new people. I went into this surrendering any thought of what this could be and let what it should be happen.

Athens - Two Story Coffeehouse -you were awesome! Seeing 50 + people come through fueled me for the next few cities that were to come.

Asheville - There we sat in the back room of an adorable local coffee shop “Waking Life Espresso”. 10 people sitting around talking about life and the struggle with anxiety, pain that home life caused, and what the future calls for us.

Charlotte - you surprised me! I went into Charlotte thinking Not Just Coffee was it’s own little shop but was so stoked to learn that it was in a market that was neighbors to local businesses that were straight up genuine and passionate about what they did.

Charleston - team was built and strong. we got to spend the day meeting up with a handful of people we knew and visited a coffee shop called Black Tap Coffee. Charleston was just what our team needed. Goofing around King st., meeting up with Jared and I’s past neighbor from our loft and talking about what is next. What do we want to do different. What do we want to do more of.

Columbia - we hung out at a campus coffee shop + meeting students that are working towards making a difference. So inspiring and energizing to talk to students who are excited about life and what their career could be. So many times I think it’s easy to let the harsh facts of reality skew your creativity.

Nashville - full of love. Daphne Willis did an incredible job singing her heart out. If you haven’t heard her stuff - you will thank me once you do! I had a handful of friends come up from Atlanta to support. I felt so stinkin’ loved and supported. There was a part of me that didn’t want to let them down. The evening was filled with meeting people that have been with us since day 1. We got to meet 60 + people that I have interacted with online but never got to hug and have a conversation face to face. I got to finally meet Kory Woodard!!!! This girl has been with us since the beginning. After skype calls and emails for 2 ish years - we finally got to meet. Kory is family to me. She has a special place in my heart. Trying to start SWL from the ground she was one that stood by me and said : whatever you need. The Ulmers hosted us and I left feeling so overwhelmed by their love and hospitality. They helped us set up, gave us a place to sleep, and cooked us the most amazing breakfast. When we left I am not gonna lie, I was sad to leave them. One our way out we got to visit Nisolo. My eyes drooled over their beautiful office and shoes. Their staff is now our friends. I adore their hearts and free spirit.

St. Louis - DANG. I love you st. louis. I really love you. I have to be honest; traveling through a thunderstorm filled with hail + lightning + wind at 10 pm at night was not the best first impression but when we showed up to the most adorable street called “The Grove” we came upon our venue. The Rise Coffeehouse. I didn’t know there could be such an amazing host like Jessie. She welcomed us with open arms. Her heart for the community is so refreshing. So inspiring. She isn’t jaded by the small business struggle but her smile leaked out excitement and open arms. After our meet up we went to the loop of st. louis and I got to hang out with Jessi Champion. Jessi has been with us for 2 years and I had never met her. You know those really pretty photos you see on instagram? She designs some of those. To top it off… our friends Nate and Ali (who I met from instagram) joined our trip! They live in Kansas City but took a train to meet us in St. Louis. They documented st. louis and spontaneously dropped everything they are doing to join us for Dallas, Austin, and Houston! Unbelievable

I want to say THANK YOU! Thank you to those that drove hours to hang out with us and thank you for sharing your story with us. We have made forever friends in these cities.

We are headed to Dallas now and I can’t wait to see what these next 5 cities bring. Despite the politics you may see in life, the bottom line for me is that we are in this together. We all want people to feel worthy of love. There are people that want to work as a team to spread this message. I feel honored that I have stumbled upon these gems that want to be a part. I don’t take credit for starting a lifestyle brand. It’s a we thing.
